I’m Erica Fossey, the owner and artist behind Flawless By Fossey. Based in Dallas — but always ready to travel wherever your special day takes me — I’m passionate about creating timeless, effortless beauty through both makeup and hair.
Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor of working with more than 1,000 incredible clients who have become like friends and family. My goal is to make your experience elegant, comfortable, and truly unforgettable. And no matter the size of your event, my talented team of artists and I will be there to ensure everyone feels flawless, confident, and cared for.
Our style? Natural, modern, and elegant. You’re already so beautiful — we are just here to enhance your God-given beauty and bring your vision to life. Whether it’s your wedding day, a photoshoot, content creation, or any moment worth celebrating — We are here for it (and yes, I travel!).

The mission and story behind Flawless By Fossey
My journey into hair and makeup began in a deeply personal place.
In 2016, my mom was in a serious car accident involving an 18-wheeler and suffered a traumatic brain injury. She was in and out of a coma for months, moving from hospital to hospital. She had to relearn everything — walking, talking, sitting, and standing.
I remember spending countless hours in the ICU, learning how to braid hair and try new makeup techniques so I could do them for her. You see, my mom has always loved her glam. I had unwavering faith that when the Lord woke her up, she would want to look and feel as much like herself as possible.
Through prayer and the grace of Jesus alone, she was taken off life support and began her journey of relearning life as we know it. From early mornings at 5 a.m. before high school to evenings spent at her bedside after class, I was there — watching her relearn how to sit up, drink water, speak, and find her voice again. Every step of the way, I had the honor of standing beside her, witnessing her strength, wisdom, and unconditional love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
While all of this may sound heavy, it was from pain that purpose was born. I fell in love with teaching her how to style her hair and apply makeup again. In those four walls of her hospital rooms, the Lord placed a hunger in my spirit like never before. Seeing my mom’s face light up each time I said, “Okay Mom, this is mascara,” or “This is how you apply blush,” brought laughter and light to our darkest days.
It was in those moments that I discovered my passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful. My mom’s incredible resilience inspired me to turn our hospital makeup tutorials into what is now Flawless By Fossey.
Today, my mom runs her own nonprofit, Head Up, a resource for individuals and families walking through similar challenges. I’m proud and honored to donate 10% of our annual revenue to support her mission each year. This work isn’t just a business for me — it’s a way to celebrate strength, beauty, and the power of giving back. Lastly, as it’s written in 1 Corinthians 13:13,
“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
I hold on with complete faith and hope, knowing that this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to share the most important part of my story — showing you the unconditional love of my first love, Jesus.
